Denali Station is a correspondence chapter of STARFLEET International (SFI) and as such, our members are spread out around the globe. Currently we have 15 members and the majority of us are deeply involved in our own Star Trek based roleplay which happens right here on our website. If you are interested in finding out more about that, please check out the roleplay link to the left.

Our station is a new chapter having only been launched on February 19th, 2016; so we are still in our 9 month shakedown. This means it’s a great time for you to get involved and join up with us!

The main thing that brings us together as group is our unique fanfiction/roleplay. A small group of us (8 or 9) used to roleplay on Facebook. We had accounts for different characters. We would log into each and work together to create an unscripted story using them. However, Facebook has been cracking down on fake accounts. Slowly, our characters have been deleted without warning. The posts made by the characters disappeared along with them, leaving large unexplained holes in our wonderful stories.

We made the decision that we needed a new way to roleplay. In addition to everyone joining SFI and starting our own chapter, we would build a website where we could roleplay without fear. We have just recently launched the roleplay part of our site. We are now arriving at Denali Station and introducing our initial characters. This is a totally new roleplay and story line for us so it's a great time to get involved with it. If you don’t have a creative side, we are even willing to help and coach you along!

We are also involved in taking Academy courses. We even have members becoming part of the Academy staff! Charity support and recycling are also important. You can earn promotion points for doing things related to those as well as so much else, including writing into the stories.

Our promotion system is all point and time in grade driven so it is fair to everyone. Promotions are much faster for those that participate and earn their points by doing things; but the time in grade requirements prevent people from advancing too fast. We believe there is value to be learned from spending time at each level in the ranks.

We are a fun, close-knit group. Joining us is becoming a part of a family, and we hope you will consider doing so.
